Capt Kirk and his crew have a long history of accomplishments in fishing tournaments, especially in many Cobia tournaments beginning with a 2nd overall finish in the Destin Cobia Tournament in 1989. In 1991 we took 1st place overall with a new Destin record Cobia weighing in at 119 pounds. We were awarded a trophy and a check for $100.00 for that fish. Today a fish in that class could be worth $30,000 or more. The SS ENTERPRISE TEAM has won many other awards since then, too numerous to mention, in tournaments such as the OUTCAST tournaments in Pensacola, FL , HARBORWALK, in Destin, HOG'S BREATH, and HARBOR DOCKS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP, and CRAB CRUNCHER Cobia tournaments, including (2) 5th place, (2) 3rd place, a 2nd and a 1st place overall finish in the Crab Cruncher since 1994. The season long tournaments are entered by the boat and any angler on a daily charter is eligible to enter a fish. The weekend tournaments must be chartered by the anglers to include the cost of entry fees plus optional cash awards divisions which vary depending on the particular tournament fished.
