Areas of Expertise
The SS ENTERPRISE team takes pride in our many years of experience fishing in Destin and our ability to give novice or veteran anglers an opportunity to catch that fish of a lifetime.
We consider ourselves experts at targeting every species of gamefish that swims in our local waters. If we have a specialty, it would be those types of fishing that we love most and take a special interest in striving to be the best at whether we are on a charter or competing in tournament competition. Two types of fishing that are very special to us are sight fishing for Cobia (Ling or Lemonfish) during the spring migration, and Offshore trolling for Billfish (Marlin), Tuna, Mahi, and Wahoo during the summer months.
The Cobia season starts around mid March and lasts through mid May with many tournaments, some of which last for up to 6 weeks, and other 2 or 3 day weekend tournaments that involve higher entry fees, and, of course BIG payouts for the winners.Billfish tournaments are also weekend trips that involve good investment with better return for the winners as well.
